Bank of England, Henry Hase (era of), a small group of proofs/trials, probably by Applegarth and Cowper, for various stages of different notes, including one brightly multicoloured underprint, and two obverse proofs in black in red, one for the Provincial Bank, the other untitled, first extremely fine, the Provincial bank example very good, other with tear at low left, otherwise very fine (3 notes)
