D.S.M. awarded for maintenance services whilst serving with the 52nd Motor Launch Flotilla during 1942. In common with other honorary awards to foreign nationals, it was not announced in the London Gazette but is fully confirmed in Seedie’s Coastal Forces List. Approximately 12 D.S.M.s were awarded to the Royal Norwegian Navy for services with Costal Forces.
