7th Madras Native Infantry, an extremely fine and scarce 1868 pattern Colonel’s scarlet tunic, white facings low round collar and pointed cuff both fitted with correct gold lace rank decoration, gold lace shoulder cords (post 1880) with correct rank insignia, full gilt buttons by Stillwell & Son London display a crowned strap with AVA honour and ‘VII’ within, laurel wreath surrounds, excellent colour, minor stitching faults to the cuff lace and very slight wear to the inner linings £200-300
