A collection of Stone Age axes and arrowheads, 5,000-3,000 BC., comprising two Mesolithic hand axes, a Neolithic tanged arrowhead, a leaf-shaped arrowhead, a semi-circular or crescent-shaped scraper/knife, a hand axe and an unfinished leaf-shaped arrowhead with a single barb, largest length 15.5cm, smallest 2.7cm. £200-£240
All found by field walking by a finder over his lifetime at a site at Thatcham in Hampshire. Recorded by Professor Roger M Jacobi. Thatcham is the oldest continuously inhabited place in Britain covering 13,000 years.
