An Edwardian silver and ivory handled presentation trowel and ebonised gavel, the trowel engraved with presentation inscription amidst engraved scrolling flowers and foliage, together with a silver mounted ebonised mallet-shaped gavel, with detachable screw handle, by George Jackson & David Fullerton, London, 1904, both contained in fitted case, trowel length 27.5cm. £150-£200
The trowel is inscribed ‘Presented to The Rev John Rees on the occasion of his laying a memorial stone at Cwmllynfell Chapel 6th March 1905’.
