A Japanese inlaid Kiseru or opium pipe, 19th-early 20th century, the bamboo pipe with mouthpiece and bowl in gold and metal onlaid with gold, silver and copper details of flowers, foliage and birds, the mouthpiece stamped ‘K20’, length 19.5cm. £200-£300
The Kiseru (煙管) is a Japanese smoking pipe traditionally used for smoking a small serving of kizami, a finely shredded tobacco.
