Greek Coinages, SICILY, Syracuse, Philistis (wife of Hieron II), 16 Litræ, 240-216, diademed and veiled bust left, star behind, rev. βασιλισσασ φιλισιδοσ, slow quadriga driven right by Nike, star above reins, k before horses, 12.52g (Gulbenkian 354, same dies; SNG ANS 881, Ashmolean 2109 and McClean 2912, same obv. die). Struck on an irregular flan with minor porosity, otherwise about extremely fine and lightly toned £600-£800
