A William IVth Period Manchester Mayor’s Tipstaff 1830 - 37, of turned wood, the upper panel painted on a blue ground with the arms and cypher of William IV, the reverse with the arms of Manchester and the initials WRA, topped with a gilded pressed metal disc, overall length 26.2 cms, three very minor chips to the woodwork otherwise good overall condition for age £240-£280
