Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Alma (Pte. Jn. Harrison. 95th. Ft.) contemporarily engraved naming, edge bruising, nearly very fine £240-£280

John Harrison was born in Preston, Lancashire, on 14 February 1836, and attested there for the 82nd Foot on 14 November 1853. He transferred to the 95th Foot on 1 April 1854 and served with them in the Crimea, where he was wounded by cannon shot at the Battle of Alma, 20 September 1854. Removed to Scutari, he was discharged on 14 April 1855, after 1 year and 60 days’ service.
