On DH 1076, the owner comments “never seen another”; the cataloguer would add that the only other specimens he has noted in commerce were those in the Hamer sale, 1930, as part of Lot 239, and the DH plate coin, sold as Lot 868 in the first Baldwin ‘Basement’ sale, 30 September 2014, when it was described as ‘possibly unique’; it is likely that the ‘Basement’ and Hamer specimens are one and the same
