Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Second issue, Pattern (?) Shilling, mm. martlet, bust 3B, no inner circles, reads elizabeth d g ang fra et hib regina, 5.70g/12h (BCW MR-1A:MR-a; cf. N 1985; cf. S 2555). Neatly struck on a round flan, two small splits and slightly creased, otherwise nearly fine, extremely rare £600-£800
