Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixth issue, Sixpence, 1582, mm. bell, bust 5A, reads elizabeth d g ang fr et hi regina, 2.95g/1h (BCW BL-2:BL-b1; N 2015; S 2578). Flipped in the die during striking, leaving a clear impression of the shield beneath the obverse design, very fine, dark tone, a rare and interesting mis-strike £100-£120
