Richard Henry Allen was born in the Parish of Pentrick, Derbyshire, and enlisted for the Imperial Yeomanry at Winchester on 5 February 1900. He was then aged 34 years and served in South Africa with the 50th Company (Hampshire) Imperial Yeomanry. Sold with copied medal roll extracts.
