A Burmese ruby and diamond pendant, converted from a late 19th century ring, centred with a cushion-shaped ruby within a marquise-shaped surround set throughout with old brilliant-cut diamonds, ruby measures 4.8 x 6.7 x 2.8mm, total diamond weight approximately 2.60 carats, length including bale 43mm. £1,000-£1,500

The ruby has been assessed at GCS and confirmed as being of Burmese origin with no indications of heating.
