Roman, bronze Cupid (Eros), 1st-2nd cent. AD, 7.5cm x 7.5cm, young winged boy nude with arms outstretched, left hand held up in playful gesture, being cradled in the right arm of Venus, prominent knot of hair above his forehead with curls of hair either side, arm of Venus socketed for attachment, a rectangular opening for securement in the chest of Cupid. About very fine condition, red/brown patina £140-£180
