Saddleworth Bank, for James Buckley, John Roberts, John Wrigley, Robert Shaw and F.S.Buckley, possible forgery of a £1, 11 June 1825, serial number R456, written ‘Forged’ four times across the face, but it seems very unlikely a note of this quality is actually forged, so it is probable that the annotations refer to the signature, good and very scarce
