Middlesex [incorporating London], Greater Metropolitan area, Hackney, David Rebello, Milton’s Penny, 1796, church, rev. figure of Time seated on a cabinet, holding a tablet inscribed with Rebello’s name, edge plain, 16.71g/12h (DH 24; Stainton 34). An original striking, trifling marks in fields, otherwise brilliant and nicely patinated, very rare (£400-600)
