Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Groat, series C, London, mm. cross 1, 4.61g/7h (N 1147; S 1565). Struck on a compact but full weight flan, hairline edge crack at 6 o’clock, otherwise about very fine, toned £80-£100
