Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third coinage, Testoon, Tower, mm. lis, reads adivtorivm, broken saltire stops both sides, mostly Lombardic letters, 7.38g/11h (Jacob O2/R6; N 1841; S 2364). Lightly tooled on both sides to enhance portrait and design, otherwise very fine, rare £2,400-£3,000
