William Gill Crosby Roberts was born in 1883 and attested for the Army Veterinary Corps, serving with them during the Great War on the Western Front. Awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, he transferred to the Reserve on 24 May 1919.
Sold together with the recipient’s Certificate of Transfer to the Reserve; and Record Office enclosure for the Great War Medals, in OHMS transmission envelope addressed to ‘Mr. W. G. C. Roberts, 97 Uplands Road, Crouch End, London N8’.
