K. T. Robson, a native of Alnwick, Northumberland, served with the Survey Battery 4th Survey Regiment, Royal Artillery during the Second World War with the Middle East Forces, and was captured and taken Prisoner of War at Cyrenaica on 20 June 1942. He was held at Stalag IV B for the remainder of the War, and was liberated following the cessation of hostilities. He was awarded his Efficiency Medal in February 1948.
