Ebenezer Henderson was born at Kirkuddy, Fifeshire, and attested for the Lancashire Fusiliers at Salford, Lancashire. He served with the 1st/7th Battalion during the Great War at Gallipoli from 5 May 1915, and was killed in action on 21 July 1915. He is buried in the Redoubt Cemetery, Helles, Turkey.
