Joseph Henry Allden was born at Headley, Hampshire, on 31 July 1889 and was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, serving with the 2nd/4th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action in a trench raid by his battalion on German positions near St. Quentin on 28 April 1917; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.

Frederick Christopher Bobby was born at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire and attested for the Inns of Court O.T.C. He was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 7 October 1918. He died in New Zealand in 1962.

Sydney Arthur Garrard was born at Rangoon, Burma, in 1896 and attested for the Suffolk Regiment, serving with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 31 August 1915. Promoted to Sergeant, he was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry on 1 August 1917, and subsequently served as a Lieutenant in the Territorial Force Reserve. He died at Bury St. Edmunds in 1963.
