Adam Dixon was born at New Delaval, Northumberland, and attested for the Northumberland Fusiliers at Blyth, Northumberland. He served with the 14TH Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 9 September 1919, and was killed in action on 28 September 1917. He is buried in Hooge Crater Cemetery, Belgium.
