Evan Jones Williams was born in Brynsiencyn and served as a Corporal in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers during the Great War. He joined the Police in 1919, and served in Holyhead, before transferring to Bodedern in 1926, Beaumaris in 1929, and Llangefni in 1938. He retired in 1949.
