John Ring was born in the Parish of Middleton, County Cork, and enlisted into the 1st Battalion, 95th Regiment on 2 April 1813. He was discharged on 25 December 1815, in consequence of a ‘Gun Shot Wound left foot on the 18th June 1815 at Waterloo.’ Sold with copied discharge papers.
