Sold with copy pay lists for the periods September to December 1814, and December 1814 to March 1815, which show John Stringer as serving with the 95th in America and having been taken prisoner on 23rd December, and having re-joined on 15th March, 1815. Stringer would have been taken prisoner during the operations against New Orleans.
