Subadar Roshan Khan, 1-27th Punjabis was killed in action on 16 April 1916. His name is commemorated on the Basra Memorial, Iraq.

Chanan Singh entered the Army in 1913 and was promoted Jemadar in 1928 and Subadar in 1933. Serving with the 13th Frontier Force Rifles, he was killed in action in Waziristan on 9 January 1937.
