Regt.); King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (2908 Serjt., Manch. Regt.); Army L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (2908 C. Sjt., Manch. Regt.) initial given as ‘J’ on first two medals, contact wear, therefore nearly very fine (4) £1200-1500

The Johannesburg and Diamond Hill clasps are very rare to the Manchester Regiment. The Manchester Regiment gained the award of 27 D.C.M’s. during the Boer War, just two of which were to the Mounted Infantry.
