Tudor Francis attested for the 10th (Scottish) Battalion, Liverpool Regiment on 31 August 1914 and was one of the originall contingent who travelled to France aboard the S.S. Maidan in November 1914. Later discharged through illness and entitled to a Silver War Badge.
