Harold Landford was born at Regents Park, London on 21 March 1889. He enlisted into the Royal Marines as a Band Boy in September 1906. During 1914-16 he served aboard the armoured cruiser H.M.S. Essex and later served on Implacable and Europa. He was demobilized from the service in December 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
