Leslie Dowse, of Abbotts Langley, Hertfordshire, attested for the 3rd/1st Hertforshire Yeomanry on 10 October 1915. Posted overseas, he arrived at Basra in November 1916 for service in Mesopotamia. Invalided to India in July 1917, he was transferred to the 21st Lancers in May 1919 and was demobilized at Bombay in October 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
