Co DURHAM, Gateshead, 1857 (2), silver and copper, goat’s head crest, revs. tower, churchwardens fredk. p. ionn, etc, edges plain, both 31mm, 15.48g, 14.65g (Gardiner p.22; W 2699; D & W 302/27) [2]. First virtually as struck and attractively toned, very rare, second extremely fine but lightly lacquered £90-£120
