Thomas Rogers was a native of Swindon and served with the 2nd Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers in France from 13 August 1914. He was attached to the 14th Battalion at the time of winning his M.M., and served with the 1st battalion in the Waziristan operations of 1919-24.
