London and Westminster Light Horse Volunteers Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c.1803.
A fine Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c.1803, HM Silver (London 1803, maker’s mark IR), oval outlined plate with beaded edge, to the centre, Lion of England holding a shield bearing the Garter motto and central ‘GR’ cypher, below a scroll ‘Forward’, complete with usual hook and studs to the rear, good condition £400-£500
