Anglo-Saxon, a bronze cruciform brooch, 6th century, with integral top knob, semi-circular in section with moulded collar, head plate with expanded wings, punched v-shaped decoration, arched bow, rectangular lappets and animal head terminal with prominent eyes and scrolled nostrils.
