Anglo-Saxon, lead disc brooch, 11th century, 2.8cm diameter, decorated with a voided cross in the centre, bordered by six crosses interspaced by letters cnvt (?). Small piercing, otherwise fine £100-£150

This type of brooch imitates the reverse design of silver pennies of the 11th century
