Robert Bradbeer was born in Exmouth, Devon, on 19 October 1870. He joined the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard on 19 August 1895, and appears to have spent his entire service assigned to “A” Division. He took retirement aged 50; his address for pension is noted as 6, The Grove, Vauxhall, London.
