India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Persia (A. Large, 14th. King’s Lt. Dgns.) light contact marks, very fine £400-£500

Augustus Large attested for the 14th Light Dragoons and served with the Regiment during the Persia campaign of 1857, and subsequently during the Great Sepoy Mutiny of 1857-59 (entitled to an Indian Mutiny medal with ‘Central India’ clasp). He died at sea on 11 April 1860.
