Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue (933. Sergt. F. W. Kisbie. 6th. Dragoons.) contemporarily engraved naming, pierced with ring suspension, nearly very fine £100-£140

Franklin Kisbie attested for the 6th Dragoons at Chelsea on 16 June 1846, aged 14, and served with the Regiment throughout the Crimea campaign, being promoted Trumpeter on 1 October 1854. The musters show that he was effective from 1 October to 31 December 1854, and consequently it is probable that he rode in the Charge of the Heavy Brigade at Balaklava on 25 October 1854.
