Q.S.A. confirmed under ‘Miscellaneous’ on Cape & Transport Staff roll, unique to R.M.L.I.; Coronation 1902 one of only 8 bronze awards to Royal Marines; L.S. & G.C. awarded 1894; M.S.M. awarded 27 February 1939. Colour-Sergeant Samuel Partridge died on 2 October 1953.
