Bank of Elegance, Thames Street, Kingston, a note promising to ‘Pay on Demand the sum of Fifty Pounds, if I do not Cut any Lady or Gentleman’s Hair in the first style of fashion’ 1 April 1826, serial number 120, signature of W.H.Collins, marked ‘Forged’ in ink, which is unsurprising give the close resemblance to a Bank of England note, good fine and scarce
