Government of the Straits Settlements, a group of hand-executed rubbings from Straits Settlements watermark moulds, contained in a brown paper slipcase, ND (1914), one each for $50, $100 and $1000, each with elephant at left and right, also in the lot is a printer’s list of ‘alterations of denominations on moulds’, rusty paper clip marks and some damp toning, a fascinating group of unique archival material, generally very fine (4 pieces in a slipcase)
