This specimen formed part of a small parcel of similar coins handled by Spink in the early 1960s. The group was discussed in detail by Ian Stewart in ‘A Group of Hiberno-Norse Pennies’ which appeared in the November edition of the 1971 Spink Numismatic Circular.
