Provincial Bank of Ireland, £1, fraudulently altered to £10, Clonmel, 1 December 1828, serial number 945, George IV at top left, parts of the denomination panels altered and replaced in an attempt to change the value from One to Ten Pounds, split and rejoined at centre with other tape repairs and endorsements on back, unusual, fine and rare regardless of any alterations!
