Corporal F. G. Ram, R.A.C., was captured by the Italians and made a prisoner-of-war, eventually being held at Stalag 4B at Mühlberg on the Elbe. The occurance of his capture in Libya 1940 is given in The Seventh and Three Enemies:

‘This time the enemy had been prevented from sending a column to Capuzzo and the day was quite successful. One cruiser was damaged and had to be towed home. One light tank was missing, with Corporal Ram and Troopers Cooney and Sims of C. Squadron; it had in fact struck a mine, and Trooper Edward Cooney was killed and the other two were taken prisoner’.
