Phoebe Gill trained at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and joined Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service as Nursing Sister on 7 June 1915. She served at the Royal Hospital, Haslar, and in Gibraltar, returning to the UK aboard the Marpha on 3 June 1919. She is later recorded in 1926 working as a nurse at the Royal Free Hospital.
G. H. McCurdy served as Nursing Sister from 1 June 1915 at the Royal Hospital, Haslar, and later tended to patients on the island of Malta.
