M.I.D. London Gazette 29 November 1945:
‘In recognition of gallant and distinguished services in Italy.’
J. A. Coleman served with the 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards, during the Second World War, and was wounded in North Africa on 5 February 1943. He saw further service in Italy, and was Mentioned in Despatches.
