Lot Evans, from Stawell, Street, Somerset, was born in December 1895. He attested into the Royal Garrison Artillery for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front from 6 April 1918. Discharged on 5 February 1919, he died of pneumonia, caused by influenza, eight days later on 13 February 1919. He is buried in Brean Churchyard, Somerset.
