James Alexander Leitch McCraw was born at Edinburgh, Scotland, on 4 March 1889. He attested at Toronto on 22 July 1915, and served in the alias name of ‘Mack’. He was killed in action on 29 March 1917, and is buried in Ecoivres Military Cemetery, Mont-St-Eloi.
Sold with 3rd Toronto Regiment cap badge and two brass ‘Canada’ shoulder titles, together with copied research which confirms name change.
